“Happy Scaling” started as an email sign-off.
For years I signed my emails “Cheers.” It felt friendly and… a little British. Then I spent time around mentors who are sober, and a sign-off tied to drinking started to feel off.
I’d always cringed at “Sincerely,” and other professional signoffs… so I brainstormed a replacement and landed on “Happy scaling.”
It morphed into my signoff for the Affiliated Podcast and ClickBank's Youtube Channel where I hosted over 200 episodes and videos.
Happy Scaling stuck because it says what I wish for everyone I work with: that they hit their business goals without giving up their happiness to get there.
Close to ten years later, it’s the name on the door.

Over more than a decade, we’ve worked with hundreds of founders. Most of them are overworked and overstressed. They’ll tell you they’re wired this way and wouldn’t change it, while their health slips, their relationships suffer, and burnout gets closer every quarter.

Before Happy Scaling, we spent more than a decade at ClickBank, one of the largest and oldest affiliate platforms on the web. Based in Boise, Idaho, and the job took us up the highway to Sun Valley to as far as Bangkok and Dubai.
We learned alongside our clients.
We spoke on stages, hosted podcasts and masterminds, and sat in the room for launches that broke records… and offers that disappeared overnight.

Thomas turned down job offers that would have made most people envious and realized he wasn’t going to leave ClickBank for another job. When he was ready, he was going to build this and get back to working with founders building fun businesses.
And when Dom left the corporate world, Thomas followed shortly after. A summer of coffee-shop conversations later, Happy Scaling went from an email signature to the advisory firm.
We’re less the people behind Happy Scaling, and more the people in front of it.
